Maartje Korstanje & Nacho Carbonell at the Groninger Museum

Now Showing

This month, the Groninger Museum in the Netherlands launches Nacho Carbonell & Maartje Korstanje, a joint exhibition dedicated to new works by Carbonell, an Eindhoven-based designer, and Korstanje, a Rotterdam-based artist. The pair's conceptually charged, somewhat surreal works fit together happily; while Korstanje finds inspiration in the cycle of life and death, and Carbonell explores the notion of man's relationship to objects and public space, both have a penchant for creating dramatic, animated works that seem poised to come to life at any moment.
