MiniMasterpiece

MiniMasterpiece is a wonderful gallery of jewelry. What makes it super interesting is that none of the jewelry is designed by jewelers, instead it's all designed by artists, architects, and designers.

MiniMasterpiece's founder Esther de Beaucé, daugther of jewelry collector Diane Venet, has such an amazing eye. It was such a pleasure to get really hands on with her stunning collection!

The above piece is just incredible. It's part of artist Jacqueline de Dong's Pommes de Jong series, in which she dries potatoes and their shoots slowly over a period of two years before submerging them in a bath of platinum or gold, as is the case with this one, converting the humble potato into an unexpectedly exciting piece of jewelry.
