By methods of torch cut-and-welding rough parts of iron the artist of this piece has composed this fantastic abstract figure. The surface of the thick iron elements are rough and oxidized, the torch cut, heating and welding process have given a varied and appealing texture to the sculpture. The term ‘Brutalism’ ( derives from the French word brut, meaning raw ) was coined to describe an architectural movement that emerged in the fifties of the 20th century.
